Sequoia Trip

We had a really great time on our week long trip to Sequoia with the Parke family. We took my niece Emmy with us and she was good company and great help.

The kids enjoyed climbing rocks, petting the goats and other farm animals, watching movies in bed and getting dirty.

Climbing Moro rock! Jillian and Emmy enjoyed doing this with Christian and I enjoyed not doing it with Carter. Heights are not my thing. In fact I avoid them at all costs.

We also walked through the Red woods and kit trees with sticks (mostly Carter and his cousin Tennyson).

Boyden Cave!

The cave was really neat. It was full of stalactites and stalagmites. One formation we really liked was called the wedding cake, can you pick it out:)? Jillian decided to close her eyes in one picture in order to avoid seeing the dark. The funny thing is the cave had lights and it was much darker with her eyes closed.

We played in the river a couple of days and the kids had the best time throwing rocks in the river while Christian and his brother built a damn with Emmy.

Such a great vacation!! I bet all of this traveling while being sick is awful for you though, yuck??? Are you sick like you were with the other 2??

I am actually doing a lot better. I am on some anti-neasuea medicine that helps a lot. I do get really car sick though and that is hard. I was surprised at how well I felt on the trip though. I took it easy with minimal hiking and stuff cause I am just so tired all the time!

That is great, I am so glad. I am not looking forward to being preggers again and so sick, good thing I still have a long time before that happens.

I am so glad you left a post on my blog and to hear that posting about it would do some good somehow. It was actually really really hard to write and I wondered if it was worth it!
Also, My little girl also just cut her hair! Must be the age! Everyone reminds me that every little girl does it but for some reason it still doesn't make it feel any easier!
