Bennett turns 1
It is really hard to believe Bennett is 1. Time is flying by! To celebrate his birthday we had our Cartwright cousins over for a fun day. The morning started with waffles, whipped cream & strawberries for breakfast (bottom left). Benny was a fan. Next we spent sometime in the pool. Since Benny is a huge fan of the water so he enjoyed this very much. We bar-b-cued for lunch, had cupcakes for dessert & opened presents. Bennett really enjoyed having a cupcake all to himself. He made short work of it, had one big sugar shudder, and downed his sippy full of water. The toy from Gma & Gpa Parke was a hit!

Cousin time
This week was out spring break so we got to spend some extra time with our cousins. Maddie & Bennett are finally getting old enough to interact with each other a little bit. Unfortunately for Maddie Bennett was very interested in her hair & eyes. Maddie was fantastic for this photo shoot. She sat in on place and looked right at the camera the whole time. Bennett on the other hand had to be chased down and brought back a few times & never wanted to look at the camera. That kid is too busy for posing.

Having fun together
The kids were having fun playing before bed the other night. Bennett loves sitting in the little chair in Jillian's room. He will sit in it for a long time & just hang out while the kids play.
Preschool Easter Party
Bennett & I got to go to Carter's preschool Easter party last week. The egg hunt was pretty amazing, there were eggs everywhere! Carter collected until his bucket was full then his teacher gave him a plastic sack for more. Bennett had a great time playing with a couple of eggs. He is getting so big & wants to do what the big kids are doing. He & Carter played with the eggs all afternoon.
Clark County Fair
Who knows if the pictures will show up this time. A few weekends ago we went out to Logandale for the Clark County Fair. Shaleen & her kids went with us and we made a day of it. We had a really good time seeing all the animals, watching the mini monster trucks, cheering for our pig in the pig races, riding rides and eating the biggest funnel cake I have ever seen. We even got to see the rodeo that night but unfortunately, due to freezing cold weather, we didn't stay for the bull riding. It was chilly & windy all day but we could handle it. Once it got dark we froze even with all our warm clothes on. The kids had a great day and it was definitely worth the trip!
