We walked to Penny Pack Park, a huge wilderness park, by Conan & Sierra's apartment. We fed the ducks and the hissing geese, luckily they only hissed and didn't try to attack!
Come and get it!! Carter thought he wanted to pet all the geese until they got a little close and hissed at him, then he quickly changed his mind. I think they were upset with him for eating each piece of bread we gave him to throw to them, and throwing rocks to them instead. 
We pulled the kids to the park in the wagon and then of course ended up pulling an empty wagon as everyone insisted on walking. We managed to get them all in it for a picture though. Jillian, Tennyson, and Carter had a great time playing together. Well, Jillian & Carter loved playing with Tennyson and he like them ok when they weren't attacking him. He is much more timid and mild than they are and even though he out weighs both of them and is much taller than Carter, he would flinch when Carter got too close to him in fear of an attack!!!

Yay!!! I have been waiting for the trip pics. So awesome, I have always wanted to go there and see all the history, maybe someday. The kids look great in all the winter gear.
Yeah, winter is fun in small doses:). It was so wonderful to see all the historical sites. We didn't even see half of what there is in DC. We need to go back without the kids. I am still working on putting up all the pics from everywhere we went, it will take a while to get them all up.
Can't wait to see them!
I remember what it was like to go somewhere. I have been so house bound as I get used to this mom thing. DC is so packed with places to go and things to see - I have been there twice on very short trips, its frustrating not being able to see everything. Shaleen isn't a very good blogger. Keep me posted on what is happening with your parents and their mission! I can't believe they are gone already.
You are right she is not. I think she forgot her username and password and so is just stuck. I was going to try to get her going on it when she was down last but things were just too busy. Someday we will get it figured out. HOw is your little guy? It must be hard having a newborn where it is snowy and cold. Is the snow gone yet? My Mom and Dad are in the MTC right now and they are sounding really happy and excited. I am waiting to see all your baby pictures!!!!!!
I know...our son Tennyson is a weanie!!! Ha! One of these days he'll realize he's bigger than most his friends! We loved having you come visit.
How fun! I can't imagine going on a big trip like that with my kids yet. Someday... By the way, Jillian is SO CUTE in the picture with her face painted. You have beautiful kids! Did Cara or Maylene email you? They wanted to be invited to read your blog!
