We had a nice Thanksgiving at our house this year. We will be in California for a while at Christmas time so we decided to stay here & celebrate with Shaleen & family. Christian made a really delicious turkey that looked beautiful too. I was not brave enough to attempt it but I did make the Parke's traditional chestnut stuffing. It was a lonely hour & a half as I sat peeling chestnuts while everyone was asleep, but it is always worth it in the end.
Our FHE on Monday night was making the turkey with the things we are thankful on it and Jillian & Carter also made pilgrim hats. Carter very much enjoyed hie chocolate pie and even licked his & Natie's plates clean.
We are thankful for our great house, family & friends and many moe things. We know we are truly blessed!!!
