Clark county fair

One of our new traditions is going to the Clark county fair in Logandale. We went last year and had such a good time we decided it would be a tradition. The kids were so excited that Aunt Kelsey came up to go to the fair with us! A bunch of families from our ward signed their kids up for mutton busting (where the kids ride a sheep). Carter plans to do it next year!! It was very fun to watch, you can see all the kids climbing on the gate watching in the bottom left picture. Carter would like me to mention that a boy named Gavin rode the sheep backwards and held on for a long time!! My favorite ride was when the gate opened and the sheep immediately laid down on it's side. The child held fast for quite a while, they finally pried his arms off the sheep. He got another try.

Bennett loved the turtle guy for some reason!

Seeing the animals! Jill & Carter got to milk a plastic cow. We loved the baby chicks, baby pigs & the big ugly turkey. Carter found an egg in the chicken pen.

Jillian loved the rides this year. Carter chose not to ride any but he liked the tractors & cars & got a fun gun instead. Jillian surprised us by going on a bunch of big fast rides with her friends. I was really impressed, she closed her eyes tight & looked scared on all the rides but she had a great time and went on many of them numerous times. Next year we will buy her a wrist band so she can ride as many rides as she would like with her friends.
Bennett loved the rides and wanted to go on all of them. He got to ride a few small ones including the train (upper left hand corner).
