Our first day in DC we went to see george Washington's house at Mount Vernon. It was really fun to get to go through it, at least it was for those of us who made it through:). Christian stayed out with Carter because Christian has been there before and Carter didn't really seem very anxious to be quiet, sit still and listen. This is the front of the house.
This is the view of the Potomic river from the back porch. The house has an amazing view. 
This is the back of the house. The back porch is lined with chairs for people (who don't have kids) to sit and enjoy the beauty of the river!

I didn't know that you went on a trip! What a fun trip. I love American History sites.
I didn't know you were coming to the East! I wish we had talked beforehand and I could have come down for a visit since I'm down there anyway every 2 months or so... but I am glad you had FUN!!!
