Grandma & Grandpa Parke took us to the L.A. fair yesterday. The kids had a great time seeing all the animals, riding the rides and eating treats!
We found Jill's store!
Grandma is so fun to go on rides with because she pretends to be scared and squeals the while time. Jillian thought it was great. Jill is much more daring than I ever was. Thank goodness!
Carter only tried to climb out of the ride once:)!
Everyone loved the big slide. Jillian looked terrified on the way down but jumped up at the end and said "Let's do it again"! Carter thought it was great and smiled and laughed the whole time. When they got to the top Carter went up to the slide and immediately laid down on his stomach and was about to head down before they stopped him so he could ride with Dad. 
We had a good day. We brought our lunches but got churros and funnel cake at the fair. We watched a horse race for the first time which was kinda neat. We thought it might be more exciting if you had some money bet on it though. We also got to see a lot of baby animals. Cute little pigs and a baby goat that had been born a few hours before. The mother was still a mess and the baby had the ambilical cord still. It was yucky but fascinating.

I am jealous, I wanted to take Gwenie on the slide at the oc fair but she was not tall enough. I love th fair isn't it great?
Wow, it sounds like you guys had a blast. Seeing all the fun stuff you guys do makes me homesick! The picture with Jilly and Mom is hilarious!!! Glad you guys had a great time. Oh-and I am soooo jealous you guys got to eat churros.
You do a lot of stuff. I feel like I am home all of the time eating. I had the craziest dream about you the other night. I woke up concerned until I figured out it was just a dream.
