A few weeks ago we went to the aquarium on Christian's day off. The kids always have a great time there. It is a really fun place to go.

Petting the small sharks and rays. Carter loves to touch them. Jillian used to touch them no problem but she informed us this time that it now "freaks her out" and she doesn't want to touch them anymore. Goof ball!!
They had a children's story time and Jillian got to be one of the puppets in the story. She thought it was great and I am so glad she likes doing things like this. I would have been way to scared and timid to do anything in front of people. I am glad she is more out going. She loves saying prayers and giving talks in primary. Go figure!

I bet Sydney would love the aquarium. She is so obsessed with the ocean. For show and tell last week she brought her favorite sea shells and a sand dollar...and she didn't just tell her class about them. Pretty much everyone we met she asked if they had ever seen a sand dollar or sea shell before. It was so funny. I'm glad she loves the beach and ocean so much because secretly I really, really want to live closer to a beach someday.
Jilly must get it from Christian. I would never have had the guts to do that either, awesome that she will do it. I need to go there, I haven't been since I was in middle school, it looks like so much fun.
