The kids have been dying to go swimming so we let them. Even though it was about 70 that day the pool would have been freezing but Christian heated it up for 2 days before and the spa was toasty & the pool nice. The kids were so happy to be back in the pool. Jillian & Carter swam for about 3 hours straight. At one point Jill informed us we were all looking a little fuzzy. I guess the chlorine was getting to her.
Meet Mr. Puss-n-cat. Tuesday's are story time at the library and they now have these book buddies. They are bags with a stuffed animal & a book. Carter loves cats so he chose this one. When we got home from the library he told me not to forget Mr. Puss-n-cat.
Apparently he named him on the 2 minute drive home. Where he got the name, I don't know, some reference to puss-n-boots I guess. Anyway, it is funny to hear Carter calling for him all over the house. I think we are going to have a hard time when he has to go back next week. Carter thinks he's family now!
We had a fun Valentines with pancakes, pink whipped cream & strawberries for breakfast. The kids enjoyed it and loved their chocolates. We are very low key for most holidays but Jillian started asking 2 weeks before what everyone was going to get for Valentines day. It is time to start making things fun for the kids!!!!!
