On Monday we drove out to Moapa with Shaleen and some of her friends to go to a place called Roos-N-More. It is like a zoo but you get to hold or touch most of the animals. The kids enjoyed it and I thought it was pretty cool too so that is always a bonus. Jillian was up for anything, Carter hung back a little and Bennett got a front row seat from his stroller while he snacked (the only way to keep him happy these days!).
Bennett with the baby Lemur
Can't remember what this guy is called but he was pretty big. He liked to sit on the big peoples shoulders and run across the little people's backs. The kids thought it was hilarious.
Emmy with the baby kangaroo. This was my favorite animal. It was so cute and soft, almost like snuggling a human baby.
Jillian feeding the camel a carrot. She was the only kid who would do this. She volunteered right away and was super brave.
Carter & Joey
Otters, we didn't get to hold them but we got to pet them.
Jill & Joey
Jillian being a sturdy tree for the Toucan.
A little unsure what to do with a monkey on her lap.
This is they animal that ran across the kids backs. He was investigating Bennett's Kix's.
Feeding the kangaroo.
Armadillo & Jill. He was pretty neat! See him peaking out?
Jill was loving all the animals.
