Who needs toys when there are snakes to hold! All 4 of the kids loved holding the snakes. They wanted to hold them all day long but we gave the snakes a few breaks from all the manhandling and droppings. Cousins Christian and David have 6 snakes and uncle Brett was very kind and patient with all the demands to get the snakes out. We even got to see the snakes swim in the pool. It was pretty neat. The one in Carter's hands on the bottom right is a ball python. They curl up into a ball when they feel threatened and not surprisingly, they spent most of their time in balls.
I got some sparklers here in vegas where they sell them in Sam's & Costco, to take down to Grandma's. We were very careful and had lots of fun after watching fireworks. Jillian was pretty funny with her sparklers. Apperently she loves them and her calling in life appears to be a fire dancer. She danced all over the yard, twriling her hips and spinning her sparklers. She was very entertaining!
Earlier in the day we had a BBQ and swam in the pool. The kids have really come to love swimming since we have had a pool. Jill is a good swimmer now and Carter floats all over in his innertube, or attitude as Harmony always called them:).

Wow, glad you guys had such a great time. I bet it was so great seeing your parents again. They look great. We did sparklers too that I also bought at Sam's, however, Tennyson burned his fingers pretty badly on one, so he has now vowed never to do "sprinklers" ever again!
