Soccer tragedy!!!!

Here is a run down of what we have been doing lately. We went to the Harvest Festival at Jill's school.

Decorated the house for Halloween & Jillian made Carter a robot costume.

Carter had his first soccer game. I tried to put the pictures in order for the story. Left to right, top to bottom. Here it is. Carter was excited to go to his soccer game. Pics. 1 & 2 he is gearing up to go in to the game, hydrating himself, planning his strategy, etc... Pictures 3 & 4 he went in very excited & got right at the ball. Pic. 5 ought oh, he got poked in the eye during the scuffle for the ball. Pictures 6-8, what he was doing for the rest of the game to avoid getting close to the ball again, it was too dangerous close to the ball so he wouldn't get near it for the rest of the game. He played with Ella, snuggled with Daddy & watched from a safe distance. He was able to go through the tunnel at the end & give Ella a hug because they didn't seem like such dangerous activities.

Who knows how it will go next week. Can Carter recover from the eye incident or is soccer forever tanted for him???? He says he enjoyed his game & is excited for the next one. To be continued..........
