The kids loved the one-eyed butterfly pinata. (It just came that way). They beat it in half anyway so missing one eye didn't seem so bad after that. Jillian did lots of jumping to reach the butterfly.
We opened presents and Jill was very good about letting her friends help her. Thanks for all the great gifts everyone!! She loves them and was so excited to look at them at home.
We BBQed hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch and had a great feast!!
Then we had yummy cake & cookies. Thanks Robyn for the crown cake idea, though it mostly turned into a valentines cake with a million candles that didn't light! There was too much wind so she eventually just blew out the lighter as it rested on the candle. She didn't seem to care! All the kids had so much fun running, digging in the mud, and collecting eggs that Aunt Kelsey was kind enough to stuff & hide.

Wow - Looks like fun! I can't believe she turned 5!! And, the cake was really cute :) Good job Mom!!
It looks like you had such a fun time. I LOVE the cake. What a creative idea. I showed the pictures to Conan too...we both kept looking at Carter trying to figure out what is so different about him...then we realized he has hair!!! Ha! We love you Jilly. Happy Birthday.
I was showing Drew the pictures on my phone while we were driving and he was going crazy for Carter! He just kept saying 'EAT, EAT,EAT' and 'we played mommy' and so on. It was too funny and when I told him it was for Jill's b-day he just cried and said that he wanted to go to Carter's house!
It looks so fun! I don't know how I feel about the Hannah Montana stuff though, I can't stand her and pray that Gwenie does not get into her. The kids look so cute, they are getting so big. CRAZY.
